Post Treatment Services is grounded in personal long-term experience of recovery companioning.

Every case supervisor on our team has actually worked extensively as a recovery companion. We know how it works – and what goes wrong. Our companions are carefully trained and vetted; but perhaps most importantly, they never work alone.

Behind each companion is a team, and that team works together for the duration.

Companions consult with their supervisory team regularly – often daily – and we work with the clients’ clinical team to ensure that treatment goals are front and center in the client’s daily experience.

We work collaboratively with your treatment team to provide insight and follow through – so the clinicians are able to make the best possible decisions for the patient and their program.

It is our hope that one day recovery companions will be a routine protocol for clients transitioning from inpatient treatment into recovery, and for clients at high risk of relapse during times of concern.

We also believe that industry-wide standards and practices will be critical to ensuring competent care for every client. One of our on-going goals is that our training, documentation and supervisory standards will help to set the bar for those criteria as they are developed.
