Lori began in the field of addiction treatment in 1983, working her way from technician to counselor to supervisor at ASAP, an early Los Angeles adolescent treatment program, and later at Exodus Treatment Center in Los Angeles. Lori started many outside adolescent recovery groups in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, including groups for Tough Love, PDAP and more.
The extensive knowledge she garnered working in the addiction treatment field allowed her to make the jump to being one of the first and most sought after Sober/Recovery companions in what was then a very new field. As an early pioneer, the depth and range of her experience in that field has allowed her to contribute greatly to legitimizing and professionalizing the recovery companion role within the treatment continuum of care.
Her direction and input as one of the top Companion Oversight Managers in the field today is unparalleled. Post Treatment Services is grateful to have the benefit of her many years of dedicated service.
